I pulled the forum down. I still have the info, just no link. No need for a forum, as far as I can tell. But I added a photo gallery. Feel free to send me an email and give me some photos to post :). Who knows, I might actually remember to do it!

Found: Awesome Document Regarding Baldwin Harp Tongues

Yeah, it's been a loooong time...life has a habit of doing that. But I was browsing for random harp stuff the other day, thinking I might get a chance work on the harp more in the future if this whole 'career' thing doesn't pan out. I found this fantastic link:

Check out the author's site. I haven't talked to him/her but they obviously know far more about the Baldwin Harpsichord and harpsichords in general than I ever will. If that link ever goes bad let me know and I'll host the document on my site.

I now have my harpsichord setup in my living room with a cute little vintage Acoustic Control amp, a 4 channel mixer (2 for the harp since I don't have pedals) and a funky old Yamaha analog drum machine. I'll post pictures at some point in the next few years. Plus I'll add a forum to the site that actually works....someday.

Baldwin Harpsichord Manual

Finally the manual to the Baldwin Combo Harpsichord is available. Special thanks to Yves-Marie Roze for actually scanning the manual and sending to me. You're awesome! I think having access to this document will help everyone who owns one keep it in good repair.

So, here it is: Original Baldwin Combo Harpsichord Manual. It's a PDF, 5.9 megs.

NOTE: DON'T RESELL IT! If I see it on eBay I'll email the bidders and tell them to get it here for free. I hate jerks who resell old manuals.

I recently bought a house, an old Traynor tube amp that needs a little work, I have a Rhodes restoration project, and have a band project, and yadda yadda, and it's nearly 2 a.m. right now... You see where I'm headed here (I wish I could).
